“The core mission of CPSM is to provide our students with the education needed to support families through whatever sleep struggles their children are facing. Rather than providing a one size fits all approach, we teach our students to meet the needs and parenting style of their end client. What works for one child, or one family, may not work for another. Sleep consultants certified through CPSM will be prepared to meet families where they are and yet still make progress towards the end goal of independent sleep.”

Certified Sleep Consultant Jayne Havens

As a new parent, overwhelmed by exhaustion, Jayne Havens found herself reading everything she could find in order to get her own son to sleep through the night. She applied what she learned to both of her children, implementing good sleep habits very early on. Friends quickly took notice of the fact that Jayne’s kids were both fabulous sleepers, and then began coming to her for help with their own kids’ sleep challenges.

After several years of informally helping friends, and friends of friends, she decided to get her certification and do this work professionally. Jayne’s consulting business, Snooze Fest by Jayne Havens serves families all across the country and abroad. She works one on one with parents to help teach independent sleep skills to their children. Jayne’s approach is self-described as being very “client-led” meaning she meets parents where they are and will guide and support them using methods that feel comfortable for them.

Jayne lives in Baltimore, Maryland with her husband Jonathan and two children Sid and Ivy. When Jayne is not working with families to achieve better sleep for their little ones, her time is filled by volunteering for local charities, and of course, spending time with her family.
